A late welcome back to Semester 2 ! You're halfway through you first year, isn't time flying ?!?

Please find lists of support services below to help you get through this semester if you felt like you struggled last semester in any way, shape, or form. NUIGalway has various support systems to get through the final hurdle of first year !

I normally have a fairly good idea of what's going on, what date it is, basic things like that, but when my lecturer announced yesterday that this is week 7 it took me totally by surprise. The weeks are flying past and before we know it we're going to be up on top of exams again! I had a fairly quiet start to semester 2. I didn't have many assignments and not a huge work load. However that was just the calm before the storm because suddenly I've been bombarded with essays and projects that have fast approaching deadlines.

As we near this time of the year, most of us face one certain problem, Exam Stress. This is very normall. So I would like to help out by pointing out a few things that made me more comfortable facing the exams.

1) Have a study plan-Start planning a revision timetable now. This should include realistic goals and also short breaks. I found it useful to get some fresh air after an hour of studying. 

2)Organise a Group study-I found this to be very helpful as studying with your friends is always fun(as long as you don't mess around!)

3)Health-Get plenty of sleep and eat healthy.You should fuel
