Topic: Exam Stress
Views: 29
Exams are only a few weeks and as is usual we all start to stress a little, even those of use who have been through the exam system before. Some of the other blogs give great advice as to how to best prepare for studying like eating right, getting plenty of zzzz's and studying in groups. However, some of the best advice I got off my mentor last year was to do with preparation. As the man himself, Roy Keane said, "Fail to prepare, prepare to fail". What he meant by this was the importance of having your work done and feeling confident of yourself walking into the exam hall. That means ensuring you have revised all the course work and have done the sample papers so you have an idea of what to expect come "game-time". Great help can also be found in the exam module in Skills4Study available in blackboard.A great video of what to expect in the exam hall and what you can and cannot bring in with you can be found at http://www.nuigalway.ie/exams/... read more
