Well Hello First Years,How are you all keeping? Good I’m hoping!Now that you have had time to settle into college life you may begin to wonder if going to and coming from lectures day in day out or continuously searching for books in the library is all that college life entails for you. Thankfully college life encompasses so much more than that and there is in fact another side to the coin.And what is on the other side of that proverbial coin some of you are undoubtedly asking yourselves? Clubs and societies that's what!!! As you may or may not have seen from the clubs and socs day there is everything from the weird and wonderful to the eccentric and unique clubs and societies available to all at NUIG. The College is hosting its second set of clubs and societies days this week. The socs and volunteering day is on the Wednesday the 14th in the Baile Allen Hall and clubs day takes place on Thursday the 15th in the Kingfisher from 10am-5pm. Volunteering or joining a club or society is a great way to meet new people, to get fit and active and is also a great way to enhance your CV, so if you get the opportunity go have a look and see is there anything that may interest you.
